Job Description
Actionline is currently seeking on behalf of its client BBI - Intrakat RT Joint Venture for a Site Supervisor to build the Riviera Tower in Ellinikon, Greece. This iconic structure, with 50 storeys and a height of 200m, will stand as the highest building in Greece.
Based in Southern Athens, Greece, and reporting to The Production Manager, the candidate will be an instrumental force in ensuring the delivery of the project, managing day-to-day on-site operations aligned with meticulous standards, and fostering a safe, efficient, and dynamic work environment.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Site Management: Overseeing and managing all day-to-day operations on the construction site.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with the project specifications and to the highest quality standards
- Safety Oversight: Monitoring site activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols, identifying and addressing potential hazards promptly.
- Team Leadership: Supervising and guiding on site staff and subcontractors and construction, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and to the defined standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Acting as the primary point of contact for on-site matters, liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of daily activities, including work progress, equipment usage, and any incidents
- Resource Management: Ensuring optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials, identifying any needs for additional resources in a timely manner
- Issue Resolution: Promptly addressing any on-site issues, conflicts, or disruptions, ensuring minimal impact on project progress
- Training amp; Compliance: Ensuring that all site workers are adequately trained and comply with site regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Continuous Feedback: Collaborating with the planning and strategy teams, providing valuable insights from the ground to refine processes and methodologies
- Reporting: Preparing progress or discrepancy reports.[1]
- Professional experience amp; qualifications of a successful candidate:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- [X Years] of experience as a Site Supervisor, preferably in large-scale residential or commercial construction projects.
- Familiarity with Greek construction regulations, standards, and best practices
- Proven ability to lead and manage on-site teams efficiently
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, equipment, and tools
