Local Procurement Engineer

Actionline is currently seeking on behalf of its client BBI - Intrakat RT Joint Venture for an Local Procurement Engineer, to build the Riviera Tower in Ellinikon, Greece.

This iconic structure, with 50 storeys and a height of 200m, will stand as the highest building in Greece.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out market research in Greece and abroad of material suppliers and/or project subcontractors.
• Compilation of comparative tables about supplies - material / subcontracts amp; evaluation of the relevant technical and financial offers.
• Participation in the drafting, negotiation amp; control of the technical and financial terms of supply contracts.
• Compilation of orders and individual agreements.
• Preparation of e-tenders amp; keeping a record of financial amp; technical bids as well as an evaluation register of cooperating suppliers.
• Monitoring amp; adherence to schedules from order to receipt of materials.
• Visiting suppliers in Greece and abroad to select the appropriate materials.
• Collaboration with Technical Directors and Project Managers for the selection of the most suitable materials and/or subcontracts.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 previous experiences in a relevant Procurement department and/or in a construction site/Technical office in Energy projects/Infrastructure projects.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of ERP programs will be an asset.
• Very good knowledge of the English Language (oral and written).
• Strong Communication amp; negotiation skills.

• Ability to prioritize and focus on detail.
