ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a Spanish company that offers comprehensive global transport solutions is seeking for a:

Disassembly Manager

Based in Volos

The Disassembly Manager will report to the deputy production manager, and he will be responsible for train dismantling activities from the reception of the inspected unit to the delivery of the cars to Welding.

• Fulfils the responsibilities assigned in the systems implemented in the areas of Occupational Safety, Quality and Product Safety, Occupational Risk Prevention, and the Environment.

• Participates in the implementation and enforcement of legal requirements and internal EHS (occupational safety and health).

• Comply with, promote, and enforce mandatory safety regulations, ensuring the use of PPE, order, and cleanliness in the team.

• Coordinate with Quality on Non-Conformities (NCR's) detected in their area.

• Identify risks affecting their area or field of work and define/propose adequate means of prevention and protection to prevent them.

• Controlling, collecting, and allocating the work reports of the staff under his/her charge.

• Ensure the proper maintenance of the physical means necessary for the execution of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities:

Dismantling of the first prototype train in Spain, with the aim of:

• Create the manual for dismantling operators.
• Make an exhaustive list of all parts to be dismantled, including hardware.
• Provide Engineering with the necessary information on parts to be replaced, to be able to code and issue lists of materials: quantities, characteristics, DIN, treatments, etc.
• Review the Instruction Sheets and Control Sheets, which will have been prepared by Industrialization, and suggest modifications and additions.
• With Industrialization, define the tools and consumables required for each operation and define the tooling for the storage of the disassembled parts.

Leading staff in dismantling activities in Volos:

• Responsible for the correct and sequenced disassembly, identification, and storage of the elements to be reassembled in the unit, and for preparing these elements and handing them over to the next stage.
• Based on Planning he/she ensures that activities are completed on time.
• Follows procedures and project documentation and ensures that the Instruction Sheets are used.
• Ensures that Control Cards and Check Lists are completed in real-time.
• Defines, with the Line Manager, and implements the resources necessary for the activities in his area: people, shifts, tools, storage tools, and consumables.
• Requests materials and consumables for Disassembly operations from the Warehouse and ensures that these materials are available to operators on time.
• Ensures compliance with production cost and time forecasts in your area.
• Ensures the fulfillment of Quality objectives.
• Manages operators, assigning them to dismantling work, setting deadlines for each job, and ensuring that activities are carried out on time and to the required quality.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering • Minimum two years' experience in the industrial/manufacturing field, as a production or shift manager. • Experience in train maintenance will be considered an asset. • Training in mechanical engineering. • Very good knowledge of English (speaking and writing). • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
