Our main product, The Signal Ocean Platform, allows ship charterers, brokers and owners to securely process, combine and analyse complex arrays of private and public shipping data. We are looking for an IT intern to join our team at our Athens premises.
What you will do in this role:
- Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
- Provide day-to-day support for end user requests related to desktop software/hardware, telecom, and video conferencing
- Assist with ensuring documentation on incidents or requests for support is timely and accurate through our issues tracking application
- Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
- Organize and maintain IT resources
- Consult with vendors, perform research and evaluate products to assist in the selection and purchase of equipment and installation or upgrade of systems
Requirements
What you bring to the team:
- Must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate level degree in a Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems major
- Ability to identify, research, and resolve technical problems;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- An affinity for providing exceptional customer service
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in teams
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Scripting languages Powershell, Python is nice to have but not required
