What We Are Looking For:
Persado is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test (Senior QA Automation Engineer) to join our talented team of engineers! If QA is your passion we will be glad to hear from you!
What You Will Work On:
- Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Communicate with internal teams (e.g. developers and business analysts) to help identify missing requirements.
- Estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities for your projects.
- Develop comprehensive and well-structured Test Plans and Test Cases.
- Conduct reviews on Test Plans and Test Cases and provide constructive feedback.
- Execute functional and non-functional tests (manual or automated).
- Develop automated Test Cases based on automation frameworks built in-house.
- Perform reviews on automation test code.
- Perform thorough automated regression testing, analyze results and troubleshoot failures.
- Identify, document and track issues in Jira.
- Contribute in maintenance and enhancement of existing test frameworks and infrastructure.
- Guide and mentor junior members of the team.
- Work with QA Manager on defining new testing strategies, tools and metrics.
What You Bring:
- 4+ years of working experience in Software Testing Automation, using known testing frameworks.
- Above average knowledge of Selenium / WebDriver, Playwright or Carina.
- Knowledge of OOP languages like Java.
- University degree in Engineering / Computer Science or related disciplines.
- Knowledge of basic SQL queries.
- Experience working with version control systems (e.g. Github/Gitlab).
- Experience using the Spring Java Enterprise Framework.
- Experience using testing frameworks like TestNG, Junit, Spock and Serenity.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, Travis or GitLab CI.
- ISTQB certification foundation level would be a plus.
- Willing to innovate, learn and share knowledge.

- Comfortable working in a flat company structure without supervision and with a proactive goal-oriented attitude.
