Within this framework, we are looking for an agile and highly-motivated MLOps in Networks Research Engineer to join a team of future shapers.
The role:
The successful candidate will be involved in the design and development operations (DevOps) of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven solutions focusing on ML and network service technologies along the beyond 5G and 6G roadmap. As a research engineer, the candidate will work on a small team, while being versatile and independent, will tackle interesting research problems and will gain expertise in beyond the state-of-the-art AI and networking technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement experimental systems and applications focusing on AI/ML and networking technologies for next-generation (B5G/6G) telecommunications systems
- Investigate new AI technologies and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices for ML lifecycle management
- Configure, deploy, maintain, and use software engineering tools
- Lead or contribute to technical reports and deliver technical presentations
- Collaborate with data science, telecom and technical teams or individuals of various backgrounds across Europe
Requirements
- MSc (PhD preferred) in Electronic/Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related technical field
- Experience with modern ML/DL frameworks (at least one of Keras, Tensorflow, PyTorch or similar)
- Knowledge of cloud-native technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) and workflow management tools (e.g., Kubeflow, Argo)
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab)
- Programming experience in Python, Java, Scala or C++
- Excellent use of English language
- Excellent communication, teamwork amp; problem solving skills
- Fulfilled military obligations, where applicable
Desired Skills:
- Experience in collaborative research projects, technical proposal/deliverable writing
- Knowledge of the 5G architecture and terminology
- Familiarity with NFV Management and Orchestration (MANO) or Multi-access/Mobile Edge Computing (MEC)
- Record of technical reports and presentations in English
