We are looking for excellent engineers to help us design, develop and deploy transformative AI-powered products to our customers. In this role, you will be working as part of our product-focused engineering team to enhance and augment our state-of-the-art perception and computer vision pipeline. Among other tasks, you will contribute to optimizing the existing service to run on lower-spec hardware, and improving our architecture to be more flexible and further integrating visual and audio perception to a powerful scene perception service.

• Prototype, develop, evaluate and integrate algorithms at the intersection of computer vision and robotics
• Evaluate state-of-the-art algorithms and neural networks and integrate them into the existing technology stack
• Profile and optimize the existing perception service to enhance performance or run on lower-spec hardware
• Collaborate with our product and engineering team to define metrics and build data sets to evaluate and improve our perception stack
• Stay on top of the latest developments in computer vision and perception. Initiate and lead projects that apply novel ideas from research to add value to our product.
• Participate in defining, planning, and implementing new product features that rely on additional information from the perception service

Requirements

• MSc. in computer science, engineering, mathematics, data science or similar
• 2+ years of production-level software development experience
• 2+ years experience working with machine- and deep learning algorithms to solve problems in computer vision and robotics, including evaluation and training of neural networks
• Well-versed in fundamentals of computer vision and deep learning
• Excellent working knowledge of Python, experience with C++ a plus
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks (Keras, Tensorflow, PyTorch)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to work independently as well as in a team.

• Working experience with CUDA, ONNX, TensorRT, OpenVINO and similar tools
• Experience with computer vision, multi-person tracking, person detection and/or pose estimation and prediction
• Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) and experience in developing for robotics applications
• Experience with sensor fusion, integrating data from multiple sensors for perception tasks
• Knowledge of GPU programming and experience in utilizing GPU acceleration for computer vision tasks
• Familiarity with edge computing and experience optimizing computer vision models for deployment on edge devices
