ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, an organization based in Switzerland and provides logistics services throughout Europe and beyond, is seeking for a Professional Truck Driver to join the company based in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Role involves:
- Pick up the truck from a city in Europe (Usually Switzerland)
- Run routes within Central Europe (Switzerland, Italy, England, France, Germany, etc.)
- Inspect vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- The driver will work together with another driver
Requirements
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in international transport as a Truck Driver
- Holds a passport either Greek or from a member state of the European Union
- Holds C+E driving license
- Holds Digital Tachograph Card
- Advanced knowledge of the English language
Personal Attributes:
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
- Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Reliability and Patience
