Demi Chef de Partie Commis Chef de Partie
for the Lindian Village Beach Resort,
Curio Collection by Hilton, Rhodes.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Washing and peeling fresh fruits and vegetables. Weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients. Preparing cold foods.
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklist.
- Following all company safety and security policies and procedures/ Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Completing safety training and certifications.
- Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information/protecting company's asset.
Requirements
- Previous work experience in a similar position
- Solid knowledge of cooking methods, techniques and procedures.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Effective communication skills
- Pleasant personality, passionate for excellence.
